Riding Lessons

• We offer Western trail-riding lessons. All of our lessons include an emphasis on horse safety and proper technique. Our riders learn about horses from the ground up and into the saddle!

• Lessons start with learning how to halter, groom, saddle, and bridle the horse utilizing correct and safe methods and move into ridden work including walk, trot, and lope.

• We ride in the Tanque Verde Wash. We do not offer arena riding lessons.

• Our goal is for our riders to have fun, feel confident, and be safe!

Lesson Options

Private Lessons - $85/$115 per lesson

• This is a one-to-one lesson with our experienced instructors. The lesson is customized to your ability level and is a great option for newer riders or those who need to brush up on their skills.

• 1-hour and 1.5-hour options available.

Group Lessons - $55 per lesson

• We offer group after school riding lessons September through May on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:30pm - 6:00pm.

• Registration occurs in the summer and we accept rolling admissions throughout the school year (dependent upon availability).

• Riders in our after-school program enroll for a minimum of one semester and lessons focus on grooming, tacking, horse education, and riding. If the weather does not permit riding, our lesson will focus on horse health & wellness, basic veterinary skills, and tack upkeep. On average, there are typically about 30 lessons per school year.
